ABOUT PROOFPATH

Built around a simple question.

How can a student explain what they actually did, instead of relying on a project title or an attractive demo?

The first version

An evidence-first portfolio workflow, not a full learning platform.

What we are building

Three engineering pathways, mission briefs, transparent checklists and a local evidence-pack builder. The aim is to help learners describe outcomes, personal contribution, test evidence and limits.

What we are not claiming

ProofPath is not the first project-learning or portfolio tool. It does not certify skill, independently verify authorship or promise employment. Reference builds and observed usability tests remain work for the team.

Learner needs shape the design

The project plan includes 30 user-conducted interviews across web development, cybersecurity and AI/ML. This is exploratory research, not a representative survey.

RESEARCH → DESIGN

Clear checks, no skill score

Learners described uncertainty about project quality and how to explain their contribution. The prototype keeps criteria explicit.

RESEARCH → DESIGN

No-upload first version

Privacy concerns informed the browser-only builder. Nothing is uploaded or shared automatically.

A five-person student project

Created for the CSET489 SEO project. SEO is applied to the product site, not used as the product topic.

The project combines original content, a useful learner workflow and a deployment plan. This M1 version demonstrates page structure, keyword-intent mapping and local tools. Search volumes, difficulty values, ranking results and traffic have not been claimed or fabricated.
